Gaby grew up with an assortment of sports around her such as Kickboxing, Gymnastics, Badminton, Ski- and Snowboarding, Ice-hockey, Voltige (Gymnastics on horse), Horseback riding, Diving, Surfing, Road-biking, and many more! When traveling to the States from Switzerland, Gaby came across CrossFit and loved it right from the very beginning. The Team spirit aspect and positive environment inspired her to continue her CrossFit journey and share her love for the sport with others. CrossFit was not only added to her repertoire of sports, but also allowed her to test and push her limits both physically and mentally. She hopes to show other athletes that CrossFit can enhance your way of life and is still possible even with an injury.

Ozzy's journey within CrossFit began during his time serving in the military. Looking for a fitness regimen that would enhance his physical and mental abilities as a soldier he came across CrossFit, and after the challenges of his first WOD he was hooked. Along with CrossFit, weightlifting became a passion as a way to become stronger and to move more efficiently in fitness and in life. To Ozzy, CrossFit is an opportunity to create a better version of ourselves in a community of like-minded athletes.
Andrew’s fitness background includes youth recreational sports and high school swimming. Andrew joined Body Armor CF when globo gyms would allow him to "superset" jumping rope with squats. Born and raised in San Antonio, Brandon passionately played every sport possible while in high school. Showing the same passion for sports by joining CrossFit and working with the box’s weight lifting coach, he began entering weight lifting competitions.
He says, “There is not a better feeling than seeing someone hit a new PR in the lifts after months and months of training. Seeing athletes work so hard to gain even 1 KG on the bar is so inspiring and motivates me to become the best coach possible.” His advice for someone who is new to weightlifting: "Weightlifting is a sport of precision, practice and patience. It is not a sport you can learn overnight, learn in a few weeks, or even a few months. It takes years to master the sport. Be patient, show up and practice and you too will fall in love with the sport."
As a high school student about to enter military service, Joseph listened to the wise advice of his father who recommended the he start CrossFit to get in shape for the transition. After seeing the results his father had as a fellow Crossfit athlete, he agreed to the new experience and has since fallen in love with both the Crossfit lifestyle and community. Joseph hopes to inspire our athletes to be the absolute best they can be in and outside of the gym while continuing to help our CrossFit community grow stronger. He is grateful and humbled to join the Body Armor team as a coach and hopes to add to their daily source of motivation.
